What we did
The Web Science Institute (WSI) at the University of Southampton wanted to develop high quality professionally focused short courses for professionals, companies and entrepreneurs, in the UK and around the world, specifically in the highly sought-after area of data science.
Together, CEG Digital and WSI developed a portfolio of six-week online courses to help individuals and companies to improve their data literacy.
Professor Dame Wendy Hall, Director of the Web Science Institute said at the launch of the venture:

An ongoing success story
Under this partnership, we provide sales and marketing activities for the Southampton Data Science Academy brand, with the University dealing with all content creation activities in-house. We have so far recruited hundreds of students to these online courses – through direct and corporate channels – and student feedback has been exceptionally positive.
