The World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD) conference brings together researchers, policy makers, educators, consultants and employers from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience and discuss recent developments and current challenges in both theory and practice.
The aim of this year's conference is to explore the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the global efforts to achieve the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SD).
CEG Digital's Business Development Director Professor Manuel Frutos-Perez will present a paper on Monday 20th July with the title 'High Quality Online Education: The Next Sustainable Development Frontier'. He discusses how high quality online education can act as a multi-faceted solution for sustainable development, institutional resilience, widening participation and de-colonisation of the curriculum.
