Professor Manuel Frutos-Perez took part in a Symposium hosted by Gulf University, Bahrain.

The challenges and opportunities of distance education beyond COVID-19

CEG Digital's Director of Business Development Manuel Frutos-Perez gave a talk on 'Creating and Delivering High Quality Online Education' for Gulf University's online Symposium on the challenges and opportunities of distance learning beyond COVID-19.

The Symposium brought together university senior administrators, deans of colleges and faculties, policy and decision-makers, along with many others, to gain knowledge and experience on distance learning education practices around the world.

Manuel's session gave the audience an overview of the latest trends in online learning and focussed on best practice applied to supporting international students on online programmes. The principles presented were contextualised in existing online postgraduate programmes from universities such as Queen Mary University of London and Falmouth University, developed in partnership with CEG Digital.
